Ray Taylor is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Invictus Alpha. He brings more than 18 years of institutional real estate and credit experience, most recently across Blackstone and KKR in Europe, to investing and asset management across real assets in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Through Invictus Alpha Ray invests in and manages real assets, combining institutional capital with disciplined real estate execution and operational expertise. The firm targets opportunities across operational real estate and related sectors, acquiring and developing assets on a programmatic basis, building high-margin, recurring-revenue platforms, and managing them to institutional standards through to investment or strategic exit. 

Most recently, Ray was a Managing Director in Blackstone's Real Estate group in London, where he focused on the group's investments across student housing, film studios, residential and logistics, building deep, hands-on experience in operational real estate across a broad range of sectors and asset classes at one of the world's largest real estate managers. Before Blackstone, Ray spent six years as a Principal at KKR, responsible for the acquisition, financing and asset management of property across a range of asset classes in Europe. Earlier in his career he worked in the Real Estate Finance and Special Opportunities team at J.P. Morgan in London, and began his career at Goldman Sachs in New York in the mortgage trading department. This background combines large-cap institutional real estate investment, structured credit and asset management, disciplines essential to underwrite, finance and scale multi-site operating platforms to institutional standards.

Ray holds a BSc from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.
